A foray into the world of crypto
Crypto Stamps have already been launched all over the world, for instance in Botswana. In 2022, stamps were issued by BotswanaPost that provide an insight into the history and culture of the country, and they give digital stamp collectors the chance to win a holiday. In Japan, an animal series was up for grabs. The Marshall Islands showed silver, holographic images of the country’s beaches.
The Faroe Islands project last year was particularly exciting: each stamp is linked to an oracle about a certain weather condition. Anyone opening the stamp is able to automatically determine its rarity based on the current weather. This means that with these Crypto Stamps, the digital stamp is made even rarer and more personalized.
