Alpine rose

The “Alpine rose” design was created as part of the Swiss Digital Days in autumn 2022. Visitors to the digitalswitzerland Swiss tour had the opportunity to choose a term from each of the categories “Switzerland” and “digitization” as well as an art style. Based on these choices, the software Midjourney used artificial intelligence to create around 2,500 unique artworks. A selection of these was used by Swiss Post for the Swiss Crypto Stamp 3.0.

The 13 special editions are each dedicated to a Swiss theme. “Alpine rose” was one of the terms in the “Switzerland” category that participants were able to choose at the terminal. The alpine rose is a robust flower that blooms at the higher altitudes of the Swiss mountains during the summer. It symbolizes the beauty and wildness of Switzerland’s alpine nature.
