Winter sports

The “Winter sports” design was created as part of the Swiss Digital Days in autumn 2022. Visitors to the digitalswitzerland Swiss tour had the opportunity to choose a term from each of the categories “Switzerland” and “digitization” as well as an art style. Based on these choices, the software Midjourney used artificial intelligence to create around 2,500 unique artworks. A selection of these was used by Swiss Post for the Swiss Crypto Stamp 3.0.

The 13 special editions are each dedicated to a Swiss theme. “Winter sports” was one of the terms in the “Switzerland” category that participants were able to choose at the terminal. Winter sports have a long tradition in Switzerland. Winter sports shape Swiss identity through the passionate ski culture, and a wide range of other activities such as snowboarding, cross-country skiing and sledging.
