The “Cable car” design was created as part of the Swiss Digital Days in autumn 2022. Visitors to the digitalswitzerland Swiss tour had the opportunity to choose a term from each of the categories “Switzerland” and “digitization” as well as an art style. Based on these choices, the software Midjourney used artificial intelligence to create around 2,500 unique artworks. A selection of these was used by Swiss Post for the Swiss Crypto Stamp 3.0.
The 13 special editions are each dedicated to a Swiss theme. “Cable car” was one of the terms in the “Switzerland” category that participants were able to choose at the terminal. Cable cars are an important means of transport in Switzerland, as they provide access to mountain peaks, hiking trails and ski resorts.
