During the COVID-19 lockdown, director Samuel Patthey was enthralled by the silence that suddenly fell upon his home. When he looked up, he was thrilled to see a sky with no air traffic.
For the Crypto Stamp 2.0 project carried out in collaboration between Swiss Post and the Locarno Film Festival, Samuel Patthey created the NFT accompanying the stamp that bears his name. His video clip represents his interpretation of a symbol of modern Switzerland.
Samuel animated a pure blue sky, symbolizing a moment of contemplation. The clear, pristine sky is like a screen that enables us to reflect and open our minds.
