Roberto Cirillo unveils the new NFTs on Piazza Grande 06.08.2022
On the fourth day of the biggest film festival in Switzerland, the Swiss Crypto Stamp 2.0 NFTs were finally revealed.
Piazza Grande, with its large audience, a giant screen and Swiss directors, was the ideal setting to unveil the ten NFTs in the Swiss Crypto Stamp 2.0 collection.
Swiss Post CEO Roberto Cirillo kicked off the screening on the evening of Saturday, 6 August.
The clips, each lasting a few seconds, showcase different interpretations of Switzerland by ten up-and-coming Swiss directors.
The clips are abstract in tone, and the themes are varied. Producer Klaudia Reynicke, for example, was interested in the issue of integration.
Her film shows the expression on a face tucking into a lime. To Klaudia, the lime is the perfect symbol of what she wants for Switzerland: an exotic fruit that she would like to become a more familiar sight.
“We’re delighted to unveil the final secrets in the Swiss Crypto Stamp 2.0 collection, which is the result of a successful collaboration with our long-standing partner, the Locarno Film Festival,” said Swiss Post CEO Roberto Cirillo, adding that sales will begin at 7.30 a.m. on 8 August.
