Swiss Crypto Stamp 3.0 – several versions are already sold out

The sales launch was a resounding success. Within the space of a few hours, all crypto stamps from token ID 8 (Fluffy) and upwards had sold out.

Walter and his pack were introduced one by one over the past few weeks. The new Swiss Crypto Stamp 3.0 is now already partially sold out. The only remaining copies are Walter (no NFT) and the rest of his pack up to and including token ID 7, meaning all the particularly rare copies of the Swiss Crypto Stamp 3.0 have been snapped up.

This success shows that non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are a technology that is here to stay. NFTs are collectible digital objects that can clearly be assigned to an owner. In the case of the Swiss Crypto Stamp, they are linked to a physical object – a stamp. As soon as it’s purchased, the Swiss Crypto Stamp 3.0 is already being actively traded on the relevant platforms and with philately suppliers.

For Swiss Post, the priority is to bring the tradition of stamp collecting into the digital age. As it does so, the same rules apply as before: complete collections are more valuable than individual stamps. So get your hands on the whole pack: Walter, Bella, Emmy, Rocky, Jara, Berna, Milo and Fido are still looking for new owners.
