A strange-looking object called swissp[AI]nt took up residence at the most recent Swiss Digital Days, organized by the digitalswitzerland hub with Swiss Post as a partner.
swissp[AI]nt is a digital terminal. There’s nothing especially unusual about that. But it seemed to be attracting a large crowd of astonished visitors. Why? The terminal is an art generator that operates with artificial intelligence. The machine uses its powerful digital neurons to transform themes and concepts into fascinating, unique masterpieces.
A preset focus on Switzerland!
Thousands of people who had come to attend the event from all over Switzerland were able to generate their own creations. The machine was preset to produce images that would place Switzerland in the spotlight.
An initial click enabled users to select one of thirty typically Swiss terms. A second click associated this term with another word from the world of digitization. Finally, the two were combined with an artistic style.
